It can happen at anytime. Be prepared. If you have not had to call an electrician
lately, you may not understand this. I had to have half of the house re-wired Friday.
What I thought would be two hours turned out to be most of the day. Ever find
yourself walking into a room and automatically turning on a light switch only to
remember - no electricity? The times that I did that I thought about what the Bible
says in Matthew 5:16, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your
good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven." With no power there can
be no light.
Genesis 1:1 says, "In the beginning God..."
No fuss, no wrong tools, no need for an up-grade - God just did it and it is still
going strong. Don't take electricity for granted and certainly don't take God's Word
for granted. Use that Word to gain the power to allow you to shine among those
around you for His glory!!
