I am curious about a lot of things. Thank goodness for the internet that allows
me to check some things out. For instance, did you know (I surely didn't) that
the ostrich can't really bury his head in the sand when he is afraid. I had always
heard that he did. He has no neck bones so he can't do that.
I am also curious about what it says in Mark 8:31-38. Jesus was speaking openly
about His coming execution and Peter rebuked Him. Why? Jesus turns right around
and says to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan!" How could Peter recover from such a
statement as that, probably said in front of others? Peter probably was just trying
to keep Him from saying things that would eventually get Him into trouble. God
wants us to speak up and to find answers to things we wonder about but to find
them in the right place, His Word.
