TV news reports what is happening all over the world. I see where some people
go to bed at night starving. "Somebody needs to do something about that," I say
as I eat my dinner. It also reports on how our soldiers need a comforting word from
home."Somebody ought to start some kind of letter mailing campaign for them,"
I think, as I open my mail. Then, it shows the loneliness found in most nursing
homes. Again, "Somebody should go and visit them." Just who is this "somebody"
I keep referring to? Perhaps millions of other people are doing something. They
might be waiting for "somebody" to finally wake up and start doing.

When I read the Scriptures like the one found in James 2:26 where it says,
"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."

I may not be able to make a big difference in a lot of people's lives, but how about
trying to make a difference in the lives of those who are around me?

Hebrews 11:6 reminds us, "..without faith it is impossible to please God." Without
doing something about that, faith is like operating with our eyes closed too, isn't it?
That's right, somebody ought to do something to let others know you can and will.
