I read somewhere recently, that some people are like gold: soft enough to be
shaped, durable enough to last, and rare enough to be valuable. That, to me,
defines character in a person. I know some people like that, don't you?

I see what Hebrews 13:9 is describing, "For it is a good thing that the heart be
established.."

Character comes from the inside out. A heart that is established is one that will
allow a person to be shaped, durable and valuable. We read John 14:23, "If
anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We
will come to him and make Our home with him."

Jesus said there that He and His Father will come and live inside of that person
who has his heart set on loving them. If that truly happens, how could that person
be less than fine gold? Jesus and God don't deserve anything less than a place that
is of value. Is thy heart right with God?
