Life isn't fair, but God always is! Why do bad things happen to good people?
It just doesn't seem fair. The limits of life are a reality. Good people suffer just
like bad people - that's life. Why are some people six feet tall and others are only
five' eleven? We can choose to be angry, get depressed, and become bitter, but
that isn't going to change life. What we can change is our outlook and how we
show others around us how we deal with what comes to us.
Matthew 5:45 comes to my mind when I think of life, "...for He makes His sun rise
on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust."
That is not only a fair God but a good God. This world and all that is in it is His creation
and He will deal with it as He likes. I am just glad that I have a small part and that I enjoy
that sun and rain, and thank Him for it.
