Sometimes I don't need a sermon. I know, I am a preacher, but what I mean is
I don't really need anyone to tell me what to do. What I do need is for someone
to tell me what to say.
Luke 21:14 reminds me, "Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand
on what you will answer." Then, 15 goes on to say, "For I will give you a mouth and
wisdom..."
It is good for me to read that right from His word, rather than hearing it from someone
else. The Bible tells me so and it is because no amount of thinking will make me a
clever person. The wisdom I want is from Him and it is God that I want to listen to.
I want His wisdom behind my action, and Him behind the words that come out of
my mouth.
