"Earth's crammed with Heaven", that's one of the lines from an Elizabeth Barrett Browning
poem. Living each moment as a way to see "heaven on earth" is another tool for learning
how to be a better person while we are here on earth. I think God wants us to be able to
"see" transformation take place. He wants to see that in how we think, how we act, and in
what we do.
Romans 12:1-2 are verses that I use a lot. I can't help but picture that ole caterpillar changing
into a beautiful butterfly. That, to me, is seeing heaven while living on this earth. I don't think I
will ever be a beautiful butterfly, but I certainly hope that others see a transformation in me that
is different in each phase of my life.
That second verse in Romans 12 says, "And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed
by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect,
will of God..." Let the Word of God renew and transform you this day!
